Hannah Elizabeth Photography captures relaxed, natural family photography in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire.
While outdoor sessions are always my first choice for allowing children to explore and be themselves, the unpredictable British weather means I also offer seasonal studio family sessions each year in the lead up to Christmas.
These relaxed studio sessions take place in my Lydney studio with a simple white backdrop, creating timeless family photographs with a subtle festive feel. Whether your children arrive in their favourite Christmas outfits or choose something more neutral and timeless, the focus remains on your family connection and capturing this season of life just as it is.
These are not mini sessions. With up to one hour together, there is plenty of time for children to settle in, have fun, and capture a natural collection of family portraits.

Your Christmas studio family session includes up to a one-hour photography session, gentle guidance throughout to capture natural moments, a preparation guide and client questionnaire, and a private online gallery with all professionally edited digital images included.
A professional print shop is available through your gallery, but you're free to print and share your images wherever you wish.
A £50 non-refundable booking fee secures your session, with the remaining balance due 14 days before your session.

Christmas studio family sessions take place in my Lydney studio and are available from September through to December.
Sessions are typically available on Monday and Tuesday, with limited Saturday availability.

Christmas studio family sessions last up to 1 hour, allowing plenty of time for children to relax, play, and capture genuine moments together without feeling rushed.

Your fully edited digital images will be delivered through a private online gallery within three weeks. You can download, print, and share your images as you wish.

You are welcome to embrace the Christmas season with festive outfits, or choose something simple and neutral for a more timeless look.
There is no right or wrong choice — the most important thing is that your family feels comfortable and that your images reflect you.

Christmas studio family sessions are suitable for families with babies through to primary school-aged children.
They are designed for families of up to 5 people (maximum 2 adults) and are perfect for capturing this stage of your family's journey before your children grow another year older.
Please note these sessions are not suitable for extended family groups, grandparents, or pets.

Yes. Living in the beautiful Forest of Dean means outdoor family sessions will always have a special place in my heart. There is nothing quite like allowing children to run, explore and be themselves amongst the trees and open spaces.
However, as the British weather can be unpredictable, Christmas studio sessions provide a relaxed indoor alternative while still capturing natural, heartfelt family photographs.
