Recreating the Little Details | Newborn & Sitter Photography in the Forest of Dean
One of my favourite parts of photographing babies throughout their first year is recreating the little details.
When families choose my Baby's First Year Collection, I make every effort to use the same props, colour palette and, for little girls, the same headbands during both their newborn and sitter sessions. It creates a beautiful consistency that allows you to look back and truly appreciate just how much your little one has grown.
These photographs are a perfect example.
The same baby.
The same headband.
The same little heart prop.
The same soft pink styling.
Just a few months apart, yet such an incredible difference.
It's often the smallest details that make these comparisons so special. Seeing tiny newborn fingers wrapped around a heart prop, then looking at a confident, smiling sitter holding the very same prop just months later, is such a lovely reminder of how quickly the first year passes.
